It's here again! Happy Wednesday!
Middle of the week...
Two days past Monday...
And only two until the weekend...
And I'm loving this one because me and the Mister are finally getting away for the weekend. And although we never travel very far, we still manage to find some really nice, quiet and peaceful places.
But to prevent the possibility of stalkers, I'll wait and share all about that next week ;)
I'm loving today because the week started with a (hopefully) final surgery for a sweet friend. She's a strong woman and an inspiration to many.
I'm loving that Priss took on the job of punkin' carvin' for us this year. Leave it to her to want to 'girly' it all up :)
I'm loving that we had several 'special' Trick or Treaters to drop by. The Graham Family made their annual stop. Love, love, love seeing the twins and Michael. They're always good for some much needed laughs and excitement. And Lori's kinda special too :)
This year our little buddy Will came. It was his first year to trick or treat and he was sporting a pretty spiffy mom-made costume :) Isn't he adorable?!
A perk of greeting at Grace :)
I'm loving today because yesterday we celebrated my mom's 76th birthday. She's always teased about how she was almost born a Halloween Spook :) The dinner was a surprise, but having all of her kids and most of our immediate family there made it extra special for her. Good times and as usual - some really funny memories.
She'll be looking forward to getting that Christmas tree up now :)
I'm loving it because my son-in-law is closer and closer to coming home. Tick-Tock-Tick-Tock!
I'm loving it because it became evident that I did get some things right while raising my kids. I received an unexpected and sweet Thank You note from Priss for our trip to see Wicked :)
I'm loving it because it marks the passing of Halloween and my mom's birthday which means my favorite holiday of the year is on the way. I LOVE Thanksgiving. To me it represents a special day with no expectations what-so-ever. It's a day set aside to focus on pure thankfulness, tremendous blessings and time spent in fellowship with family and friends. Oh - and of course all of the good foods! They're just icing on the cake :)
I'm loving that Priss is such a good mommy to my granddog. Just a tiny indication of what kind of mom she will be to my grandchildren :)
And as I end this today, I'm loving that I had my 2nd chiropractor appointment of the week and my back is feeling better. Day 3 tomorrow!
What are you loving about Wednesday?
The doggie costume is adorable! Happy Wednesday!
